At MacArthur, the School Psychologist is responsible for being the “data manager” of academic and behavior data, conducting special education evaluations, writing psychological reports, being the leader of the problem solving team (PST), consulting with teachers to develop appropriate interventions for students who are struggling academically and/or behaviorally, providing staff development, conducting observations of students, and helping implement our Multi Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) program among other things.
